We understand that you may have questions or concerns regarding medications paid for through Transcend that you have not yet received. Many patients are experiencing the same situation, and we know how frustrating this has been. Please know that these delays were outside the control of Renaissance Longevity or the medical team.
We also want to share an important clarification. Our highest priority has always been — and continues to be — patient safety, appropriate provider oversight, and continuity of care. The decision to separate from the prior administrative company was not taken lightly, but was made so that your care could be handled directly by licensed medical professionals, without interference from non-clinical operations, a sales representative, and with full transparency around medical treatment decisions.
Dear Valued Patient,
We are writing to update you about an administrative transition that supports –but does not change– your medical care. RSV Medical, PLLC, and Dr. Richard Veyna will now operate with new administrative support to better serve you.
Your medical provider, your treatment plan, and your clinical care team will remain exactly the same. This change is being made to strengthen our operations, ensure uninterrupted access to your care, and maintain the highest standards of safety for our patients, privacy, and compliance with federal and Michigan law.
Your Clinical Care with Dr. Veyna and His Team is Unchanged.
Your provider remains the same. Dr. Richard Veyna, double-board certified neurosurgeon and regenerative medicine specialist, and his team of licensed professionals at RSV Medical, PLLC will continue to provide all consultations, evaluations, prescriptions and refills, hormone and peptide management, treatment decisions, and follow-up care.
- No treatment interruptions. Your ongoing care, medication refills, pharmacy arrangements, and lab orders remain active and uninterrupted.
- Our commitment to excellence continues. You can continue to expect the same high standard of personalized, attentive care you have received from Dr. Veyna and his team.
Why the Administrative Change is Occurring
RSV Medical, PLLC, has ended its relationship with its previous administrative management company and is implementing a new support structure that will improve communication, scheduling, payment processing, and overall patient experience.
This administrative change does not involve your clinical care, your health records, or your relationship with your provider. It is being made to ensure long-term stability, efficiency, and compliance for our practice and our patients.
Your Privacy and Records Remain Protected
- Custodian of Records. RSV Medical, PLLC remains the sole custodian of all medical records and all protected health information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Michigan Medical Records Access Act.
- No transfer of your PHI. They remain securely maintained by RSV Medical, PLLC. Our prior administrative provider should not be contacting you or interfering with your treatment with Dr. Veyna and his team. Please let us know if you are receiving calls or solicitations from our prior administrative provider. Your records
- –and all the identifying health information– have not been transferred, shared, or sold.
- Secure handling of communications. Any administrative support team we use will operate under Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) as required by HIPAA, ensuring that all patient communications and support services continue to be fully compliant.
Administrative Support Going Forward
New administrative team members will be assisting with:
- Scheduling and appointment reminders
- Patient communications
- Payment processing and receipts
- Technical support for your patient portal
These functions do not replace your clinical team and do not affect your treatment decisions. Your access to care and contact with your provider will remain seamless.
What You Need to Do
At this time, you do not need to take any action. All scheduled appointments will proceed as planned, and our new support team at RSV Medical, PLLC may contact you to confirm your preferred communication method.

3. If You Paid an Invoice Through Transcend and Did Not Receive Medication
If you paid for medications through Transcend and did not receive them, it’s important to know:
- Your payment was made directly to Transcend, not to Renaissance Longevity.
- Those funds were not transferred to Renaissance Longevity, and we are not able to recover those funds on your behalf.
- In many cases, medications were not submitted to the pharmacy.
Patients have been resolving this by:
- Requesting a refund directly from Transcend, and/or
- Disputing the charge with their credit card company if they are unable to reach them.
Once your refund is complete, we are happy to re-invoice you directly and, upon payment, promptly submit your prescription to the pharmacy for processing. Alternatively, we can issue a new invoice while you pursue a refund from Transcend.
